Birthday Party Photography Guide |
Though birthday parties happen annually, birthday photography do not
get better. Sometimes it is hard to understand why birthday party
photography is so imperfect and how to improve the
situation. Practice makes perfect, however you should study
some tips and follow
other people's advice in order to make your pictures beautiful.
First thing to do is to prepare everything necessary for a birthday party.
Usually
everything goes smoother if you take your time to prepare properly. The
most important thing to consider is the photography location. Different
locations require different camera settings. Read some articles about
what settings work out better in a party room, at the amusement park or
on the beach. It is better to visit a party place ahead, so you will
find the best places to take photos from. It is always challenging to
take
pictures of main tables. Some guests are often out of focus and it
is hard to catch the moment when everyone says "cheese".
Use your flash properly. It is annoying when you are taking photos with
flash all the time, besides you will have to "photoshop red eyes". For
group pictures it is better to take multiple shots, so you will be able
to pick up the best variant. Kid's birthday party photography is
even more complicated than adult one, because kid's are moving around
all the time. So you will definitely have to be very patient and take
as many shots as possible.
Birthday party photographer should have additional charged batteries,
external flash, memory cards and tripod. It is your duty to think about
accessories you will need. |
